David Shih
David Shih is Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, The New Republic, The Progressive, Slate, NPR’s Code Switch, Electric Literature, Literary Hub, and Inside Higher Ed. His book Chinese Prodigal: A Memoir in Eight Arguments is the winner of the Bernard J. Brommel Award for Biography/Memoir from the Society of Midland Authors, the Norbert Blei/August Derleth Nonfiction Book Award of the Wisconsin Writers Awards, the Memoir Prize for Books from Memoir Magazine, and it has been recognized for honors from the Wisconsin Library Association, the Writers’ League of Texas, and Amazon.com.
