Monona Grove Liberal Arts Charter School student Simon Schlosser has a lot of opinions. He also really enjoyed learning about the This I Believe segments on NPR and NPR Illinois. So he created his own “This I Believe” essay based on opinions, conflict, and politics.

“I believe people spend too much time over what makes us similar or different, that they look past the kind of person someone is. I believe people should give others a chance.” – Simon Schlosser

Hear from more MG21 students throughout the year on “Wisconsin Life” and on the special, “Classroom Frequency: Student Voices From Wisconsin.”

During the 2018-2019 school year, Monona Grove Liberal Arts Charter School, or MG21, high school students created radio pieces for Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Wisconsin Life.” The final stories were featured on the radio and online through the “Classroom Frequency: Student Voices From Wisconsin” project.
