Many of the herbs and vegetables in our summer gardens are European immigrants. They came to Wisconsin as seeds and cuttings along with the people that came to call Wisconsin home in the 19th century. Old World Wisconsin’s historic gardener Marcia Carmichael tells us about a few of these world traveling plants.
