Avery Lea Rogers
Avery Lea Rogers is a journalist, producer, sound artist and musician. Avery is part of a team of producers for WPR’s “Wisconsin Today” talk show. They previously worked on WPR’s “The Morning Show,” and got their start in journalism as a producer for “St. Louis on the Air” on St. Louis Public Radio. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, where winter rarely gets below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, Avery loves waking up to Wisconsin’s blanket of snow in the winter.
