Appleton Native Pursues Her Dream Of Singing Opera

Ariana Douglas has the gift of music and in high school was known as the “girl who can sing”. This Appleton native soared to new heights at the UW School of Music and was invited to perform at the 2011 and 2012 UW Band Shows.

Today she continues to pursue her dream of singing opera.

Joel Waldinger is a reporter for the “Wisconsin Life” project and considers a sunset over the “big island” on Manson Lake to be a perfect ending to a day of fishing and fun in the Northwoods.
