Jeremy Lade Raises Awareness Of Wheelchair Athletics

After a car accident at age eight, Jeremy “Opie” Lade began using a wheelchair. A lifelong sports fan, Lade discovered adaptive sports at a camp held at the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. That experience launched Lade’s career as both a Paralympian and head coach and athletic director for wheelchair athletics at UW-Whitewater.
