One of the most eagerly anticipated rites of spring in Wisconsin is morel mushroom season. Fans of the elusive wild morel are notoriously secretive about their favorite hunting spots. You even have to get up early to find them at farmer’s markets morel season is short and they’re a hot commodity. Today, Caryl Owen takes us to meet the pros the mushroom sellers at the Dane County Farmer’s Market.
