While enrolled in the UW Madison’s First Wave Hip Hop arts program, Steven Rodriguez created a poem inspired by his younger brother, “Little Man”.  Rodriguez speaks to his brother’s struggles with discrimination, growing up as a Mexican-American young man.   He also tries to infuse his brother with a sense of hope that the future has “gotta be something better.”  In this animated story, motion graphics designer Philip Ashby brings Rodriguez’s words visually to life.
