Autumn leaves are at their peak as host Angela Fitzgerald climbs the lookout tower at Lapham Peak in the Kettle Moraine State Forest. She then takes on the trails to see the colorful sights and sounds of fall. Park Superintendent Anne Korman shares what activities can be done year-round and describes what makes this glaciated landscape special.
While Angela sits high atop Lapham Peak, we find ourselves in Madison with an interesting artist. Jeremiah Logemann creates artwork from materials that he reclaims out of old barn wood. His art encapsulates the history of Wisconsin both big and small.
Next, we hear the clicking of pedals and the rolling of wheels as Shelly Mordini goes past with her rickshaw. Mordini is a tour guide in Baraboo who uses her background as a history teacher to pedal a good story on her tours.
Then, we have to watch our step, or else we might get lost in one of the top ten corn mazes in the country. Located on the Treinen family farm west of Lodi, Alan along with his wife Angie have been growing amazing corn mazes for 20 years.
Finally, there is Todo Postres, a bakery run by Pedro Garcia and his partner Jesus Ramirez. They are renowned on the south side of Milwaukee for their baked goods and desserts from their homeland. They use their influence to have an impact on their communities.
